Job summary

Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to support invasive and noninvasive procedures in the cath lab. You will assist physicians with left heart catheterizations, coronary interventions, pacemaker/ICD insertions and other vascular procedures, while ensuring patient safety and aseptic technique.

The role emphasizes continuous equipment readiness, accurate data recording, and collaboration with the procedural team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2 years in an acute care Cardiac Catheterization Lab or CVOR.
• Education: Graduation from an accredited two year cardiovascular technology training program; or surgical technology program; or equivalent on the job training including a minimum three month orientation.
• Certifications: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist).

Responsibilities

• Assists in cleaning and restocking procedure rooms and equipment.
• Preps and drapes patients; maintains aseptic technique.
• Sets up and scrubs for procedures in a timely manner.
• Operates hemodynamic monitoring equipment and records patient data.
• Assists physician with Left Heart Catheterization, Coronary Intervention, Pacemaker/ICD insertions, central lines and related procedures.
