Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Easton, MD. The role supports physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular conditions in the Cath/EP Lab and focuses on patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP, EP devices and ablations.

Requirements include CCI or AART certification, state licensure as required, ACLS/PALS, CPR if applicable, and 1+ year Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• CCI or AART certification/registration required
• State Licensure may be required per state/contract
• At least 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab preferred
• ACLS/PALS per contract requirements
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist assists physicians withdiagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiacarrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab. TheCardiac Cath Lab Technologist specializes in the care of patients undergoingPTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, EP devices and ablations. The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist functionsas a technical resource and provides scrub assistance to cardiologists in theperformance of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional cardiac and peripheralvascular procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
