Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Enid, OK. The technologist will support physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and vascular conditions in the Cath/EP Lab, focusing on interventional procedures such as PTCA and stent placement.

The role requires relevant certification (CCI/AART) and licensure as applicable, with ACLS/PALS per contract and CPR current.

Qualifications

• Certification/registration required (CCI or AART).
• State licensure may be required per state/contract.
• ACLS/PALS per contract requirements.
• Current CPR if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab.
• Specializes in care of patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, EP devices and ablations.
• Functions as a technical resource and provides scrub assistance in interventional procedures.

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist assists physicians withdiagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiacarrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab. TheCardiac Cath Lab Technologist specializes in the care of patients undergoingPTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, EP devices and ablations. The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist functionsas a technical resource and provides scrub assistance to cardiologists in theperformance of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional cardiac and peripheralvascular procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CCI or AART certification/registration required

• State Licensure may be required per state/contract

• At least 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab preferred

• ACLS/PALS per contract requirements

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
