Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduation from an accredited cardiovascular technology program within 6 months.
• License or certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS and ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support physicians and licensed staff during cardiac catheterizations.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning, skin preparation, and equipment setup.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs under supervision.
• Prepare and operate Cath lab equipment under guidance (hemodynamics, contrast, injectors, etc.).
• Assist with post-procedure care and room turnover.
• Follow all hospital safety policies, radiation safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.

Education

Cardiovascular technology program completion

License or certification pending
