Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA seeks a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist for the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will operate x-ray equipment to image the heart and vasculature, and assist physicians during fluoroscopic procedures.

Responsibilities include patient preparation and instruction, positioning, and ensuring image quality under the supervising physician's guidance. Requires CRT/ARRT, ACLS/BLS, and 4+ years Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years recent working experience in a full service Cardiac Cath Lab is preferred.
• Current certifications by the California Department of Health Services (CRT) and the ARRT are required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• ARRT interventional angiography or Cardiac intervention registration is preferred
• RCIS is optional

• Operate x-ray equipment in the Cardiac Cath Lab to obtain radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
• Prepare patients for radiologic examinations and instruct them accordingly.
• Support physicians by providing imaging guidance for procedures.

Responsibilities

Per Diem position is located at Corona Regional Medial Center in Corona, Ca

Reporting to the Manager of Cardiac Cath. Lab and/or designated supervisor, this position operates the x-ray equipment in the C ath. Lab. To obtain radiographic and/or fluoroscopic images of the heart and its vasculature and/or the whole body peripheral vascular system as instructed by the operating physician in the Cath. Lab. Positions and instructs the patient for radiologic and/or fluoroscopic examinations.

Qualifications

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Four (4) years recent working experience in a full service Cardiac Cath Lab is preferred.

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION

• Current certifications by the California Department of Health Services (CRT) and the American Registry of Radiologist Technologists (ARRT) are required.
• ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association)
• Registered by the ARRT in interventional angiography and/or Cardiac intervention is preferred
• RCIS optional
