Job summary

Blessing Health System is seeking a Radiology Special Procedures Tech to support cardiac cath lab and EP lab procedures, with 24/7 coverage in Quincy, IL. The role involves assisting physicians and RNs, delivering patient care in pre/post holding areas, and participating in diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Required BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and a basic cardiology course; RCIS preferred with 1–2 years in related labs.

Qualifications

• Basic cardiology course is required.
• RCIS preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in cardiac cath lab, radiology procedures room or EP lab.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications.
• IEMA Certification is required.
• EP Lab RCES within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses with cardiac cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedures and EP Lab procedures.
• Provide comprehensive patient care in pre/post holding areas and during procedures.
• Support 24/7 coverage of the cardiac cath lab.
• Adhere to Blessing Health System policies and ICARE standards.
