Job summary

Medical City Denton, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech PRN to support diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and related labs. Under general supervision, you will scrub, pan, monitor, prep patients, and document information, assisting physicians as needed.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate Degree, ARRT or CVIS registration within 90 days, ACLS and BLS within 90/30 days, EKG competency within 90 days, and prior Cath Lab/Electrophysiology experience

Qualifications

ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Associate Degree required.
Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
Must obtain and pass EKG competency within 90 days of hire.
Cath Lab and Electrophysiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and labs.
Scrub, pan (no cine) and monitor during procedures; operate equipment.
Prepare patients, document information and interact with patients and physicians.
