Job summary

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis. You will work alongside physicians to deliver lifesaving cardiac procedures using state-of-the-art cath lab technology.

Responsibilities include assisting with angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, preparing patients, and ensuring safety in a sterile environment while providing compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Requires ACLS within 90 days of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• Associate degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced cath lab equipment to deliver safe treatment.
• Monitor patient responses to ensure the highest level of care.
• Maintain a sterile environment and advocate for every patient.
