HCA Florida West Hospital in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech PRN to join our team. You’ll work alongside physicians and caregivers using state-of-the-art cath lab technology to support lifesaving cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements; preparing patients; operating equipment; monitoring responses; maintaining sterile environment to ensure top-quality care.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree required
• ARRT-R Radiography, RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or RCIS certification required

Responsabilités

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient
