Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. You’ll work alongside physicians and staff to assist in lifesaving cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements, using state-of-the-art cath lab technology.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications required within 30 days of employment start date.
• A professional certification is required within 30 days of start date: ACLS/BCLS, plus one of ARRT-R Radiography, RVT, or RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient
