Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Radiology - Cath Lab Tech to support the Cardiac Cath Lab team for a 13-week assignment. The role requires minimum 3 years of experience, RCIS/RCES/ARRT CI/VI certifications, and proficiency in cardiac physiology, ECG interpretation, and catheterization support.

The Tech will monitor procedures, assist with training, document medications, and coordinate with physicians to ensure patient safety. ACLS requirements apply within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Cardiac, Vascular, Respiratory, and Renal physiology and pathology.
• Assist with the orientation and training of Cath Lab staff.
• Participation in special projects and committees.
• Adherence to medical ethics principles as applied to the role.
• Thorough understanding of ECG terminology.
• Identify coronary anatomy in cine angiographic projections.
• Knowledge of cardiac medications and pharmacokinetic actions.
• Documentation of medications with indications and dosages.
• Alert physicians to abnormalities in ABGs, electrolytes, hemoglobin, BUN, and creatinine.
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) knowledge and application.
• Monitor a diagnostic cardiac catheter procedure.
• Intervene during and after lethal arrhythmias per ACLS.
• Identify cardiac anatomy in cine angiography.
• Describe procedural steps and ensure patient safety during catheterization.

Responsibilities
