Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an experienced professional to assist during cardiac cath procedures and related interventions. You will operate physiologic/hemodynamic monitoring equipment and scrub for invasive cardiac and vascular procedures, providing care to adult and geriatric patients.

The role requires interventional or radiology experience and certification (ARRT or RCIS). Typical hours are 7a-5:30p with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• One year interventional experience in Cath/Radiology OR two years diagnostic lab experience in Cath/Radiology
• ARRT certification OR RCIS certification within two years of hire
• Three years interventional experience (Cath/Radiology)

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac cath procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, electrophysiology and other procedures by operating the physiologic/hemodynamic monitoring computer
• Scrub for invasive cardiac and vascular procedures
• Provide patient care to adult and geriatric patients

Responsibilities

Assists physicians during cardiac cath procedures, pacemaker/ICD insertions, electrophysiology, and other miscellaneous procedures by operating the physiologic / hemodynamic monitoring computer and/or scrubbing for invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. Provides patient care to adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Education/Experience:

• One (1) year prior Interventional experience (Cath/Radiology) OR
• Two (2) years prior diagnostic lab experience (Cath/Radiology) OR
• Associates Degree in a Health Science Program OR
• Completion of an accredited CVT/Radiology Technology program with appropriate specialization

AND

• Certification
• American Registry or Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification OR
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification within two (2) years of hire or transition

OR

• Three (3) years of prior Interventional experience (Cath/Radiology)
