Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Specialist to provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath lab, Peripheral Vascular Lab, Cath Lab Holding Room, and Electrophysiology Lab. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, cost-effective care through assessment, planning, and follow-up.

The role requires graduate training in Radiology Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Cardiovascular Technology, or Paramedic work, with 1–2 years in related

Qualifications

• Graduate from Radiology Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Cardiovascular Technology Program, or Paramedic program.
• 1-2 years Respiratory Therapy or Radiology Tech experience, 2 years Paramedic experience, or >2 years CCU/ED nursing experience.
• Graduates from Cardiovascular Program must complete RCIS certification within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' medical history and current condition for catheterization procedures.
• Prepare specialized equipment and monitor patients during procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to universal precautions.
• Collaborate with physicians and technicians to support procedures.
• Provide patient education and support before, during, and after Cardiac Cath lab procedures.
• Mentor others to promote professional growth and stay updated with field advancements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
