Job summary

HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital is seeking a Pre and Post Cath Lab Registered Nurse (PRN) in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab. You will provide expert clinical care before, during, and after procedures to ensure high-quality, efficient outcomes in a fast-paced procedural setting.

The role requires FL RN licensure (or compact), Nursing Diploma/ASN with BSN preferred, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 1–3 years in a Cardiac Cath Lab. Join a collaborative team focused on patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse per state regulations or compact license. Active FL RN within 60 days if compact.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• 1–3 years’ experience in Cardiac Cath Lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra and post procedure.
• Assist physicians in operative procedures.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and exam results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
