Job summary

UF Health in Saint Petersburg, FL seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Under direction of the director, you will assess patients, diagnose, plan and implement care tailored to cath lab patients, and evaluate outcomes.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment per Joint Commission standards and providing pre- and post-procedure nursing care. Active Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications are required to join a fast-paced cardiac team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Florida RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and develop care plans for cardiac cath lab patients.
• Implement and evaluate plans of care; document patient responses.
• Ensure environment of care complies with Joint Commission standards.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care for Cardiac Cath Lab patients.
