Job summary

Frederick Health Hospital, Inc. is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process and to support leadership and teaching duties within the department.

You will assess patients, implement and evaluate plans of care, document responses, and communicate with the health care team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Schedule includes 4-10 hour shifts with on-call expectations.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Maryland or compact state.
• Associates degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred or willingness to obtain within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care and discharge planning.
• Provide patient care using the nursing process and document appropriately.
• Communicate with the health care team in an interdisciplinary approach.
• Independently lead and teach staff; participate in quality improvement.
