Job summary

South County Hospital in Rhode Island is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The role involves assisting cardiologists in diagnostic procedures, monitoring ECG and hemodynamics, and preparing and handling specialized equipment.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold Rhode Island RN licensure or a participating compact state, with ACLS and BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Rhode Island or compact.
• ACLS certified.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 3–5 years in Cardiac Catheterization lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in diagnostic cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Monitor ECG and hemodynamic pressures.
• Set up, calibrate equipment, and circulate or scrub during procedures.
• Maintain patient/family-centered care and safety.
