Job summary

Openwork Health is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on direct care during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, with ongoing collaboration among physicians and nurses to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license with 1+ year in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar acute setting, plus BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum one year experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or similar acute care setting preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, procedures, and patient monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient status and vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and assist with sedation under physician guidance.
• Prepare equipment and maintain a sterile environment in the cath lab.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document care activities and procedural details accurately.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up care.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in resuscitation efforts as needed.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and safety standards.
