Job summary

USC Verdugo Hills Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab to join a high-acuity environment and support the patient care team. The role focuses on delivering safe, effective care across the patient’s episode, with leadership in collaboration and education.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, educating patients and families, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Registered Nurse Program.
• BSN desired (if not upon hire, will obtain within 5 years preferred).
• 1 year clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within the scope of practice and plan of care.
• Educate patients and their families about condition and self-care actions.
• Lead and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, efficient unit operations.
• Coordinate care delivery and communicate with the team effectively.
