Job summary

Corewell Health's Cardiac Cath Lab unit at Meijer Heart Center is a fast-paced environment delivering care to patients with cardiac conditions, STEMI/NSTEMI, heart failure, and vascular issues. Nurses gain expertise with devices like Impella, IABP, Swan-Ganz, and ECMO while monitoring unstable patients.

We seek registered nurses with ADN or BSN, plan orientation, MI RN license, BLS ACLS within allotted timelines, and a commitment to safety and team collaboration at a high-volume STEMI center.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing must be obtained within five years of hire.
• Competency-based orientation program required.
• RN license in Michigan required upon hire.
• BLS required within 90 days.
• ACLS required within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per ANA and Michigan standards.
• Demonstrate nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Uphold professional standards: ethics, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality improvement.
