Responsibilities

• Completes patient assessment and ongoing reassessment to guide care.
• Documents clinical findings, plan of care, interventions and outcomes.
• Administers medications following safety protocols and verifies allergies.
• Coordinates and supervises delivery of nursing care and delegates tasks as needed.
• Promotes culture of safety and conducts shift hand-offs and rounds.
• Provides patient and family teaching tailored to learning needs.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and hospital policies.
