Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL seeks a Cath Lab Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care in a procedural environment. You will work with a cohesive team to support patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.

The role requires Florida RN licensure (or compact), a nursing diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), BLS, and ACLS within 6 months. 1–3 years Cath Lab experience is preferred, with strong communication and PC skills.”

Qualifications

• Florida RN license in accordance with state regulations or compact licensure.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN is required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• One to three years’ experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra and post procedure.
• Assist physicians in operative procedures.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
