Job summary
San Antonio Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee the cardiac catheterization lab patient pathway, applying the nursing process from admission through discharge. The role includes supervision of licensed and unlicensed staff and coordinating interdisciplinary care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required are an active California RN license, AHA BLS and ACLS, and a 12-lead EKG competency or exam completion during orientation.
Qualifications
- RN license (CA) is required and active.
- At least 1 year in a cardiac cath lab or 2 years in a critical care area.
- Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications and 12 Lead EKG training or exam within orientation.
Responsibilities
- Manage nursing care for cardiac cath lab patients using the nursing process.
- Supervise licensed and unlicensed personnel and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
