Job summary

Banner - University Medical Center Tucson is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will circulate and monitor Cath/EP cases, perform patient assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and fellow staff.

Lead procedures with lead protection and patient transport responsibilities across BUMCT and BUMCS Cath Lab locations. The role requires prior Cath Lab or related unit experience and offers a 3x12 shift with on-call requirements.

Qualifications

Must possess current RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
Experience in Cath Lab, CVICU, CVOR, EP or IR preferred.
Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require minimum of one year experience in acute care.

Responsibilities

Assess patient physical, psychological, social, discharge needs and document findings.
Formulate plan of care with patient, family and health team; set realistic goals.
Implement plan through direct patient care, coordination and supervision.
Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plan as needed.
Document assessment, planning and evaluation in the patient record.
Participate in education, role development and mentoring of staff.
Contribute to national nursing quality indicators and outcomes.
May supervise staff and workflow of the department.
Interact with staff, physicians, patients and families to coordinate care.
