Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL 60622 is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab - Cardiology. The day shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) includes on-call responsibilities and a sign-on bonus.

The role provides direct patient care for adults and geriatrics in the surgical environment, with collaboration with physicians, equipment maintenance, and continuous quality improvement participation. A BSN is preferred and active RN license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active state RN license required.
• BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain.
• One year cardiovascular lab or CCU clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care for adult and geriatric patients in the cath lab.
• Communicate with physicians about patient condition during procedures.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory.
• Monitor and document physiologic data during procedures and in the lab.
