Job summary

Mercy Health in St. Joseph Warren Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional care in a high-acuity environment. The role emphasizes leadership, patient assessment, and collaborative care with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, administering meds, responding to rapid changes, and participating in on-call and STEMI callbacks within 30 minutes. RN licensure and 1 year telemetry/CCU experience are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state.
• One year RN experience in telemetry/critical care/cardiac cath lab/ER/OR.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire; BLS required (preferred at hire).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Assess patient status and develop a plan of care.
• Implement treatment and evaluate effectiveness.
• Prioritize information and take action with clinical judgement.
• Participate in on-call for emergencies; STEMI call backs within 30 minutes.
• Administer medications per policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
