Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join our hospital team in a full-time, day-shift role. The position offers excellent benefits and good pay, with no weekends.

The successful candidate will deliver direct patient care in the Cath Lab, monitor patients through all phases of procedures, administer meds, and support physicians with equipment. Strong preference for candidates with cardiac cath lab experience, a BSN, and current RN licensure; BLS required, ACLS preferred;

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience with strong preference for cardiac experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN licensure is REQUIRED.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in Cardiac Catheterization Lab is desirable.
• Strong patient safety and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures with equipment and vital signs monitoring.
• Educate patients about procedures and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.
• Ensure Cath Lab is stocked and maintained.
• Follow hospital policies and state/federal regulations.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development.

Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-quality care to patients in our state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with a team of skilled healthcare professionals. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cardiac technology and will play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting.
• Monitoring and assessing patients' conditions before, during, and after procedures.
• Administering medications and monitoring their effects.
• Assisting physicians during procedures by operating medical equipment, monitoring vital signs, and performing necessary interventions.
• Providing patient education about procedures, medications, and follow-up care.
• Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Ensuring the Cath Lab is well-stocked and properly maintained.
• Complying with all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
• Participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, with a strong preference for candidates with cardiac experience.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse is REQUIRED.
• Current BLS required and ACLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac care, including knowledge of cardiac medications, arrhythmia interpretation, and emergency interventions.
• Experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab is highly desirable.
• Exceptional clinical skills, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• The ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
