Job summary

Stormont Vail Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to perform specialized imaging and scrubbing duties in the Cath Lab. The role requires providing imaging support, monitoring patient status, and ensuring readiness for procedures.

Prefer candidates with 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience and familiarity with invasive cardiovascular settings. On-site first shift, 40 hours per week, with on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Diagnostic radiology experience desired and knowledge of diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Preferred prior experience in invasive cardiovascular or procedural settings (Cath Lab, IR, EP Lab).

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging and scrubbing duties for cardiac catheterization procedures and peripheral arteriograms, including PCI and coronary angiography.
• Assists with imaging support for structural heart and electrophysiology-related procedures.
• Operates fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment used in cardiac and peripheral procedures.
• Prepares procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies to support Cath Lab workflows and emergency readiness.
• Maintains sterile technique and proper prepping/draping of patients.
• Monitors patient status during procedures and communicates changes to the care team.
