Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare West is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Rad Technologist to join a team delivering advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures. You will assist physicians, prepare patients, and operate cath lab equipment in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient responses, maintaining sterile environment, and providing compassionate care to patients and families throughout the care journey.

Qualifications

• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures (angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements).
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced cath lab equipment to ensure safe treatment.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance to ensure the highest level of care.
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment and advocate for every patient.
