Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care in North Carolina seeks a Procedural Technologist to support cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab and related labs. You will assist physicians, prepare rooms, manage equipment, and ensure patient safety during imaging and interventions.

The role requires RCIS or extensive cath lab experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, on-site availability within 30 minutes, and familiarity with EMR (EPIC) and PACS systems.

Qualifications

• Certification as RCIS or five or more years in a procedural Cath Lab/IR setting.
• Completion of an accredited health science program (cardiovascular, radiologic, etc.).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification required or obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist credentialed care providers in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Prepare rooms, equipment, and ensure sterile conditions for procedures.
• Document patient history and imaging in EMR and PACS systems.
• Maintain radiation safety and procedural area quality checks.
