Job summary

St. Mary's Health Care System in Georgia is seeking an experienced leader for the Cardiac Cath Lab to oversee day-to-day clinical operations, scheduling, and performance improvement.

The role requires RN/RT/RCIS licensure, BLS and ACLS, a graduate of an accredited Nursing, Radiology, or Cardiovascular program, and at least five years in the Cath Lab with leadership experience; budget planning and staff education are core duties.

Qualifications

• RN/RT/RCIS licensure required; BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association required.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, Radiology Program or Cardiovascular Program required.
• Minimum of five years in Cardiac Cath Lab required, with two years in a Leadership/Management role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organization and scheduling needs of the cardiac cath lab; oversee day-to-day clinical aspects.
• Communicate with Cardiologists about patient care; participate in performance improvement measures.
• Assist in planning departmental budget; responsible for financial accountability within the department.
• Coordinate educational classes to meet annual competency requirements of staff.
