Job summary

Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, CA seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Office Coordinator. You will perform clerical, admitting and accounting tasks for the Cardiac Cath Lab, manage registrations, and coordinate with physicians' offices for billing information.

The role involves greeting patients, scheduling procedures, and participating in department meetings and in-service trainings. Prior hospital-based experience is preferred; HS diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Perform designated clerical, accounting and admitting services related to the Cardiac Cath Lab.

• Schedule outpatient and inpatient procedures, complete admitting/registration, and assist billing information.
• Greet patients and inform departments of arrivals; participate in meetings and trainings.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• As the Cardiac Cath Lab Office Coordinator, your primary function will be to perform Designated clerical, accounting and admitting services related to the Cardiac Cath Lab
• You will keep attendance records of all departmental meetings and in-service meetings, answer the telephone, forward calls and take messages in a timely and professional manner
• You will schedule outpatient and inpatient procedures, perform all admitting/registration procedures as indicated, follow up with Physician offices for information required for billing and insurance purposes, and maintain records of outpatient registration and ensure that registration is correct and up‑to‑date
• You will greet patients and inform respective department of their arrival, and participate in and attend meetings and in‑services as requested

What qualifications you will need:

• High school graduate required
• Hospital‑based experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, computer, and adequate typing/spelling skills preferred
