Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Cardiac Cath Lab on a per diem basis. You will collaborate with physicians, perform assessments, order tests, and assist in procedures within the cath lab scope.

The NP will participate in critical care during trauma events, ensure patient-centered care, and document all care and discharge plans in the CDI-aligned charting system. Per diem status and on-site duties apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate NP program approved by NYS.
• Current NP certification (AANP or ANCC) and NYS NP license.
• Bachelor's and Master's degrees.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician with patient management focusing on quality care and discharge planning.
• Orders and interprets tests and results (lab, radiology, EKG).
• Documents care in chart per policies; communicates with care team; ensures timely discharge.
