Job summary

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital in California seeks a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology Nurse.

This RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care during complex cardiology procedures and perioperative support, coordinating with Cardio Pulmonary Services and other departments to ensure safety and excellent outcomes. The role requires a BSN or equivalent, California RN license, and current BCLS/ACLS; cath lab/telemetry/ICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN or related degree required or two years Cath Lab/IR experience in lieu of degree.
• Current California RN license and active BCLS/ACLS certification required.
• Cath Lab experience and telemetry/ICU/critical care background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient/family-centered care using nursing process.
• Utilize SBAR for hand-offs and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
• Support Cardiology and Interventional Radiology services and peri-procedural care.
• Monitor and manage patients during procedures and post-procedure recovery.
• Collaborate with nursing, cardiology, radiology, and peri-operative teams.
