Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network is seeking a Per Diem Cardiovascular Lab Technologist to support invasive and noninvasive cardiac services in Reno. The role involves scrubbing procedures and monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data under the direction of a Cardiologist/Radiologist, and helping prepare the procedure room.

You will monitor instrument par levels, participate in performance improvement meetings, and assist in training new staff.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R license and state licensure required.
• Vascular Interventional Technologist (VI) preferred.
• Fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
• BCLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Scrub procedures and monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data in the cardiovascular lab.
• Ensure the procedure room is prepared for the procedure.
• Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies.
• Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff.
• Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
