Job summary

Endeavor Health in Glenview, IL is seeking an Interventional Procedures Cath Lab Tech at Glenbrook Hospital. This full-time role offers an hourly pay range of $35.35 to $54.79 with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for new grads and $20,000 for one year of IR or Cath experience (external candidates only).

You will prepare rooms and equipment, assist during cardiovascular procedures, monitor hemodynamics, manage access sites, and ensure post-procedure care.

Qualifications

• License: Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Education: Associate’s degree in an allied health field or higher bachelor’s degree.
• Certifications: ACLS certification required or must be obtained within 12 months of start date; RCIS, VI or RCES certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of procedural experience in Neuroscience, Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology preferred; other healthcare-related experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, procedure rooms, sterile and nonsterile equipment, catheters and other technology for diagnostic and invasive procedures.
• Assist physicians during coronary, peripheral, structural heart and other interventional procedures, including vascular access and device placement.
• Perform scrub assist and circulating responsibilities while providing hemodynamic monitoring, EKG interpretation and procedural documentation.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized interventional equipment and assist with fluoroscopy, digital imaging, data acquisition and processing.
• Provide post-procedure care, including hemostasis and access-site management, and recognize and respond appropriately to complications and emergency situations.
