Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an Interventional Procedures Cath Lab Tech at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. This full-time position offers 4 ten-hour shifts, shift start around 6:30–7:00 AM, with rotating weekends and on-call, and some travel between north region sites.

The role includes preparing rooms and assisting in coronary and vascular procedures, with a $15k–$20k sign-on bonus for external candidates.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required by AHA/Red Cross.
• Associate’s degree in allied health or higher.
• ACLS certification required or to be obtained within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, rooms, sterile/nonsterile equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures including vascular access and device placement.
• Perform scrub and circulating duties with hemodynamic monitoring and documentation.
• Operate interventional equipment and assist with fluoroscopy and imaging data processing.
• Provide post-procedure care and manage access-site complications.

Hourly Pay Range: $35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Interventional Procedures Technologist Position Highlights: Sign on bonus: $15,000 for new grads and $20,000 for 1 year of IR or Cath experience (external candidates only)

Position: Interventional Procedures Cath Lab Tech

Location: Glenbrook Hospital

Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time (40hrs/wk)

Hours: 4 10 hour shifts starting at either 6:30 or 7 AM, rotating weekends and on –call

Required Travel: Some travel between north region sites, as needed

What you will do:

• Prepare patients, procedure rooms, sterile and nonsterile equipment, catheters and other technology for diagnostic and invasive procedures.
• Assist physicians during coronary, peripheral, structural heart and other interventional procedures, including vascular access and device placement.
• Perform scrub assist and circulating responsibilities while providing hemodynamic monitoring, EKG interpretation and procedural documentation.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized interventional equipment and assist with fluoroscopy, digital imaging, data acquisition and processing.
• Provide post-procedure care, including hemostasis and access-site management, and recognize and respond appropriately to complications and emergency situations.

What you will need:

• License: Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Education: Associate’s degree in an allied health field or higher bachelor’s degree.
• Certifications: ACLS certification required or must be obtained within 12 months of start date. RCIS, VI or RCES certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of procedural experience in Neuroscience, Catheterization Lab or Interventional Radiology preferred; other healthcare-related experience may be considered.
