Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. You will operate imaging equipment, scrub and assist physicians, monitor patient status, and ensure radiation safety and sterile technique.

Qualifications

• Cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures experience preferred.
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy and image-guided interventions required.
• Radiation safety training and aseptic technique essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures in cath lab and IR suite.
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment with emphasis on image quality and safety.
• Scrub and assist physicians during procedures, including device preparation and contrast administration.
• Monitor patient status and hemodynamics before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control.
• Document procedures, implants, medications, and patient responses in the EMR.
• Coordinate with nurses and physicians to ensure efficient patient throughput.
• Participate in on‑call coverage for emergent procedures.
• Inspect and maintain cath lab and imaging equipment and supplies.
• Contribute to quality improvement and education in the department.

• Participate in on‑call coverage for emergent and after‑hours procedures as scheduled.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and help maintain cath lab and imaging equipment and supplies.
• Contribute to quality improvement, protocol optimization, and ongoing education within the department.
