• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (for eligible applicants)
• Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• On-call rotation required

Overview

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, located in St. Louis County, offers comprehensive medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer treatment, women and infants services, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound, and pain management. The hospital features a 24-hour adult emergency department and a separate pediatric emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

It is the first and only hospital in St. Louis County to be named a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a prestigious recognition awarded to less than nine percent of hospitals nationwide. U.S. News & World Report ranks the hospital #2 in the St. Louis metro area.

The lab conducts approximately 17 procedures daily, with four cardiac cath rooms and one EP/Stereotaxis room. Procedures include cardiac caths, PCIs, peripheral diagnostics and interventions, EP, ablations, PPM, and ICD placements.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (such as CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adult and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis, treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, including on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required.

Education

• Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school

Licenses & Certifications

• IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI)
• RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES

Preferred Requirements

Experience

• Less than 2 years

• Intravenous Therapy
