Northwestern Memorial Healthcare is seeking an Education Coordinator for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Chicago. The role leads formal and informal staff education, orients new staff, and aligns learning with best practices and regulatory standards.

The Education Coordinator collaborates with NM Academy, participates in learning effectiveness evaluation, and supports nursing practice and quality committees. Illinois RN license and clinical certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license is required.
• Certification in a clinical specialty is required.
• BSN with minimum two years clinical experience.
• MSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates unit orientation in collaboration with NM Academy and department staff.
• Integrates theory and evidence-based practice into educational experiences.
• Develops, coordinates, and evaluates formal and informal staff education.
• Maintains standards of practice in the clinical setting.
• Provides feedback on staff performance and supports ongoing professional development.

Education

BSN with a minimum of two years related clinical experience.

Current license as a Registered Nurse State of Illinois Professional Nurse.

Certification in area of clinical specialty.

MSN (Preferred)
