Qualifications

• Medical Doctor degree or equivalent.
• New York State medical licensure is required.
• Board certification in internal medicine is required.
• Cardiology board certification or eligibility required.
• Completion of EP fellowship.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Hire, train, and supervise Cath Lab staff including nurses and technologists.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety protocols, and accreditation standards; lead quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage the Cath Lab budget and procurement of equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Cath Lab staff and cultivate a professional work culture.
• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures and participate in inpatient consult rotations and on-call schedule.
