Northside Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Coordinator to oversee clinical practice and patient care delivery in the cardiac cath lab. The role includes 24-hour operational accountability, resource management, and policy implementation to ensure high-quality cardiovascular care for adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Georgia Nursing License.
• Minimum of four (4) years recent experience in an interventional cardiac cath lab, emergency care, critical care, or advanced cardiac care setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Prior experience with general vascular and coronary angiography.
• Thorough knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation.
• Must take emergent coronary interventional call (PCI & STEMI) with a 30 minute arrival time.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the clinical practice and patient care delivery for assigned units.
• Maintains 24-hour accountability, authority and responsibility of unit operations.
• Manages human, fiscal and material resources and implements policies and procedures.
• Supports invasive cardiac services specific to the cath lab.
• Provides care to adult and geriatric patients and participates in STEMI call as needed.
