Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopy and cardiac mapping equipment.
• Ensure equipment setup and inventory maintenance.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Experience

12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements

Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:Experience in diagnostic cardiac cath, electrophysiology (EP), and interventional cardiac cath labs is required. Required skills include cardiac stent placement, adult diagnostic catheterizations, left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), equipment maintenance, supply stocking, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, angioplasty, fluoroscopy, equipment setup, EKG lead placement, access-site preparation, and scrubbing while maintaining a sterile field.

Required Credentials:If you have RCIS, state license is not required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Preferred skills include isolation precautions, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, insertion/programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, inventory maintenance, right heart catheterization, Impella insertion, IABP placement/removal, cardiac implant closure device, and ASD closures.

Unit Details:Adult and geriatric patient population.The unit uses PACS.Daily caseload is 2-3.

Shift & Scheduling:This is not a set schedule; days off rotate, and staff work together to trade days off if someone needs a specific day off. Call required: 13-15 days/month. Rotating weekends on call only.
