Job summary

Inspira Health Network is seeking a Cath Lab nurse to assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate patients in the cath lab environment. The role involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures as prescribed by an invasive cardiologist for adult and geriatric patients.

The candidate should be enrolled in a BSN/MSN program, with BSN/MSN graduates preferred, and must hold NJ RN licensure with BLS and ACLS. Per diem positions require one year in the field.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN or MSN in progress within six months of hire.
• Grandfathered Educational exemptions may apply for earlier hires.
• Critical Care experience required.
• Cath Lab experience preferred.
• One-year clinical experience in the specialty area for per diem positions.
• Current NJ RN license; BLS and ACLS required; dysrhythmia certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with acute and chronic health issues.
• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in Cath Lab per physician orders.
• Collaborate with invasive cardiology team in care and evaluation of adults and geriatric patients.
• Adhere to departmental guidelines and safety protocols.
