Job summary

The role provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the RN/LPN, including activities of daily living and patient safety. The position requires responding to calls, documenting data, monitoring intake/output, obtaining vitals, and supporting the care team while maintaining infection control practices.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or better required.
• BLS certification required or obtained within orientation period.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with RN/LPN and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN direction.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient mobility.
• Respond promptly to call lights and patient/family inquiries.
• Document and report patient data and changes in condition.
• Measure intake/output and obtain vital signs as directed.
• Support unit operations and maintain infection control standards.
