Job summary

Independence Health System Inc. in Greensburg, PA seeks a Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Tech for casual, part-time shifts on 1D. You will deliver direct and indirect patient care, assist with ADLs, and respond to call lights, contributing to safe and compassionate care.

You will collect data, monitor intake/output, transport patients, and support nurses while adhering to hospital policies. A HS diploma is required; Nurse Aide training is a plus and BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow directions and work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care per hospital policies and standards.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and respond to call lights promptly.
• Document and report patient data, monitor intake/output and daily weights when indicated.
• Transport patients and obtain/prepare necessary equipment.
• Participate in unit performance improvement and maintain infection control practices.
