Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a certified nursing assistant for our Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU). The role provides basic patient care, supports nursing staff, and maintains a safe, clean environment during night shifts (7p-7a).

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED.
• Certification as a nursing assistant or six months of recent CNA experience.
• Equivalency combinations of education and experience may satisfy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment.
• Takes and records vital sign data and relays to the patient’s nurse.
• Provides general nursing care and routine treatments or procedures.
• Assists in processing of patients.
• Provides clerical receptionist support.
• Provides coordinating support.
• Performs other duties as needed by the department.
