Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA seeks a Patient Care Tech for the Cardiac Care Unit. The role supports licensed staff and provides care across the patient lifecycle in an 18-bed CCU, with 3 x 12-hour evening shifts and every other weekend.

Strong teamwork and ability to thrive under pressure are valued. Hospital experience is highly preferred. BCLS is required on hire, CNA/PCT certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; 1 year patient care experience preferred.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required upon hire; CNA or PCT certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with patient assessments and data collection.
• Support mobility, feeding, oral care, hygiene, glucose checks and rounding.
• Document vital signs and treatments in the EMR.
• Communicate with care partners and inform the primary nurse of changes.
• Assist with admission and discharge and support patient education.
