Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Cardiac Care Unit. The role involves 3 x 12-hour shifts per week with evening or night options; nights are 7pm–7am. Hospital experience is highly preferred and care team collaboration is essential to support cardiac/vascular patients.

Under licensed staff supervision, you will assist with assessments, mobility, routines, and documentation. Previous CCU exposure is beneficial but not required.

Competenze

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• No experience required; 1 year patient care experience preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support on hire required; CNA or PCT certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist with patient assessments including data collection and documentation in the EMR.
• Promote mobility, feeding, hygiene, turning, glucose checks, and safety.
• Document vital signs and treatments promptly; communicate changes to primary nurse.
• Assist with admission/discharge; participate in patient education.
• Respond to call lights and alarms; support unit operations as needed.
