Job summary

Endeavor Health's Center for Cardiac Health is seeking an RN for per diem coverage to deliver focused cardiac care. You will provide compassionate nursing care across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–5:30 pm, at Edward Hospital with rotation to Elmhurst Specialty Care Clinic; must hold Illinois RN license, BSN, ACLS and BLS; clinical experience in cardiac nursing 2+ years is required.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 2+ years of cardiac nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualized patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate care and promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education, communicate changes in patient condition and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
